Join us, and our friends at City & Village Tours, as we explore the beautiful Cotswold countryside and visit an Indian inspired palace!

We’ll start the day in the pretty market town of Moreton-in-Marsh where we’ll meet our guide and spend some time learning about its 1000 year history. From here, we’ll take a scenic journey via Stow-on-the-Wold and Capability Brown's dramatic Broadway Tower to Broadway – the “Jewel of the Cotswolds”. Broadway’s High Street is lined with horse chestnut trees, period houses and honey coloured stone cottages, a picture perfect spot to find some lunch before we continue to Sezincote House and Gardens.

At Sezincote mighty oaks line the long driveway that leads to this unique and inspiring building, much admired by viewers of Gardeners’ World and reminiscent of an Indian palace! Built for the grandson of Samuel Pepys, it features beautiful Regency interiors, a curving orangery and looks out over a Repton landscape. Your visit includes a tour of the house, which was an inspiration for the Prince Regent when creating the famous Brighton Pavilion, and then time to wander through the gorgeous gardens.

We’re due to arrive in Moreton at 11:15, our arrival at Sezincote is booked for 14:30 and we’re due to head home at 17:00.
