This tour has been and gone, but don't worry, we've got lots more Great Days Out to choose from.

This summer, Windsor Castle is celebrating the remarkable life of HRH Prince Philip, with a special exhibition featuring over 100 objects from his early life through to his naval career and the years that he spent supporting The Queen. Tickets to the exhibition are included when you purchase a standard admission to the Castle, which is the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world. Over 1000 years of history are hidden within its walls and visitors can now see the State Entrance, where The Queen’s guests are welcomed, as well as enjoying mesmerising views of the 2.5 mile Long Walk. Another new addition is the Undercroft Café where you can grab a bite in one of the Castle’s oldest spaces.

Top tip! Book entry to Windsor Castle directly through The Royal Collect Trust and you can convert your day ticket to a 1-Year-Pass for FREE on the day of your visit.

The tree-lined Long Walk is surrounded by Windsor Great Park which is free-to-enter and offers picture perfect views of the Castle. You’ll encounter formal gardens, freely roaming Red Deer and ancient trees. Look out for Cow Pond and The Valley Gardens too!

One of the most relaxing ways to tick off the sights in Windsor is to take a cruise along The Thames, passing Eton College and the Racecourse as well as navigating locks whilst enjoying supreme views of The Castle. Or, perhaps take a stroll along the Thames Path National Trail - there's a gentle stretch in Windsor that zigzags back and forth across the river and takes in many of the famous sights.

We’re due to arrive at 11:30 and depart at 16:30. The coach will stop in the Coach Park just between the Train Station and Alexandra Park so you’ll be in a great central location ready to start exploring.

Entry fees may apply and pre-booking may be required at the suggested attractions. Please check with the venues before departure.
