Enjoy a fresh, late winter, stay on Yorkshire's heritage coastline! Whitby is famous for connections to Bram Stoker’s Dracula, whose story was inspired by the noble Abbey ruins perched above the town - and for the freshest of fish and chips, of course!

Follow in the footsteps of the famous explorer, Captain James Cook, as you wander round the quirky cobbled streets or stroll along the harbour edge. The town's two piers are ideal for a quiet, nostalgic wander out to sea and the adjoining West Cliff Beach is a lovely spot to watch the waves rolling in.

Monday

Travel to Whitby where welcome refreshments await you at the hotel. Look forward to live entertainment after your 3 course dinner.

Tuesday

Today we'll visit The Dorman Museum in Middlesborough where thousands of artefacts have been lovingly collected across two floors of fascination. Everything from bird eggs to medieval vases and 19th century beetles to Jurassic fossils, this collectors haven is a historical treasure trove.

Wednesday

A day at leisure to enjoy time in Whitby – with live entertainment back at the hotel this evening.

Thursday

Expect unforgettable scenery as we tour across some of the prettiest spots on the North Yorkshire Moors. Scenes from Heartbeat and Harry Potter may spring to mind as you wander in the quiet village of Goathland whilst the busy market town of Pickering boasts an array of independent shops and delicious local treats. Scarborough remains a favourite nostalgic seaside spot with two sandy stretches of beach, split by the 12th century castle that resides on the picturesque headland.
