With gilded ceilings and glittering chandeliers, the State Rooms at Buckingham Palace provide a perfect setting for many of the greatest treasures from the Royal Collection, including Sèvres porcelain, and some of the finest English and French furniture in the world. This year, when you step into The Throne Room, you'll see new State Portraits of The King and Queen and inside The Ballroom you'll find a special exhibition titled The King's Tour Artists which features over 70 works of art from His Majesty’s own collection, that give a glimpse into what life is like on a Royal tour, many on public display for the first time. Further highlights inside The King's official London residence include gold and silk walls in The Green Drawing Room, the Grand Staircase which was inspired by London theatres and The Music Room which has not been altered since 1831. View all the highlights. The State Rooms close on 28 Sep, don't miss your chance to see them this summer, book by 12 Aug.
The coach is due to arrive in London at 12:15 for free time before your timed Palace entry at 13:30. The coach will depart at 16:45. There will be a 30 minute services comfort stop on the outward and return journey.
