The first Thursday of each month is Buxton's Pavilion Garden Market. This lovely new venture sees 8-10 local traders selling artisan goods just outside the beautiful Pavilion Gardens building, open until 14:30. Expect breads, preserves, handmade pies, unusual pickles, honey, plants and much more.

It's free entry to the Gallery in the Gardens within which you'll find a showcase of over 40 local artists and craftspeople that celebrate the High Peaks. Buxton Pump Room now doubles as the Visitor Centre with some fascinating insights into the town's past and some lovely souvenirs to pick up - this could be the perfect place to start your day, it's free entry and you can even fill up your bottle for free with fresh Buxton water. A wander through the beautiful Cavendish Shopping Arcade is a must, not only will you find some lovely local retailers but you'll find some interesting information about the building's history - it was the original site of the natural water springs discovered by the Romans and was used as Buxton Baths for many years with attractive tile friezes throughout.

Includes return travel to Buxton and a reserved coach seat. The coach is due to arrive in Buxton at 11:45 and depart at 16:45, setting down and picking up at Sylvan Road Car Park. There will be a comfort stop at Notcutts Nottingham on the outward journey.
