Join a Chelsea Pensioner on a guided tour through some of the most stunning, historical buildings in London, offering first-hand insights into life inside this unique community. Each guide has their own story, shaped by their military service and life experiences. Tours are inclusive of the Great Hall, Chapel, Figure Court, Colonnade, College Court and Light Horse Court with exclusive access to the museum at the end of the tour. There's a café, shop and restroom in the Soane Stable Yard which you are welcome to visit before or after the tour.

There's free time to explore Chelsea too - during the annual Chelsea History Festival - when there is a real buzz in the borough. Perhaps gaze at contemporary art at the Saatchi Gallery or discover the world’s largest collection of British Army objects and archives at The National Army Museum (both free entry). Find boutiques on King’s Road, designer brands in Duke of York Square and antiques along Lots Road, or go blue plaque hunting for Oscar Wilde in one of London’s most affluent neighbourhoods.

Includes a guided tour at Royal Hospital Chelsea with a Chelsea Pensioner, free time in Chelsea, return travel and a reserved coach seat of your choice. The coach is due to arrive at 11:30 and depart at 17:30, setting down and picking up close to the Royal Hospital Chelsea. Enjoy free time before your guided tour at 14:30 (lasts approx. 90-120 mins). There will be a services comfort stop on the outward and return journey. As a working site, with many moving parts, the Hospital may on occasion need to revise tour arrangements. Part of the guided tour is outside so please dress appropriately. Age guidance 14+.
