Travel through, over and under the Derwent Valley! Experience an exhilarating cable car ride to the summit of Masson Hill at the Heights of Abraham. Admire the view before heading underground into Masson Cavern for a guided tour through this geological time tunnel! Discover the site's 240 year story through displays and exhibitions, and perhaps take a wander in the ancient woodland before a return cable car ride. Next, to Rowsley South Station, for a vintage steam train journey to Matlock and back, with tea/coffee and cake served as you admire charming scenery in the Derwent Valley.
Includes entry to Heights of Abraham with a return cable car ride and guided cave tour, a return journey with Peak Rail including tea/coffee and cake, return travel and a reserved coach seat. The coach is due to arrive at The Heights of Abraham at 11:30 and depart at 14:00. The coach continues to Rowsley Station, arriving at 14:30 ready for the 15:00 train. The train returns at 16:21 and we will head home by 16:45. There will be a 45 minute comfort stop at Notcutts Nottingham on the outward journey only. Please note there are steps within the cave system so please ask us about any access concerns before departure.
