Enjoy a peaceful sailing along this beautiful canal network in the heart of Staffordshire, it is one of the prettiest ways to enjoy the region's softly undulating countryside as the trees begin to glow with their autumnal colours. Departing from just outside the town of Penkridge is the Judith Mary II (which some of you may remember from our very popular cruise along the Peak Forest Canal), this delightful vessel has a new home on the Staffordshire and Worcester Canal and is ready to welcome you on back on board. Your two hour cruise includes medium fish & chips served as you sail with bread & butter and a mushy pea and mint crush, there is a licensed bar on board. After the cruise there is free time to explore the vibrant yet historical Cathedral city of Lichfield on market day.

Includes a two hour cruise on the Staffordshire & Worcestershire Canal with fish and chips, free time in Lichfield, return travel and a reserved coach seat. The coach is due to arrive in Penkridge at 11:30 ready for your 12:00 sailing. The boat returns at 14:00 when we'll transfer to Lichfield, arriving at approx. 14:50 (at the Bus Station on Birmingham Road). The coach will depart from here at 16:45. The last departure time is 08:15 and the first return time is 18:45, both at The Slater in Collyweston (see pick-up points tab for more info). There will be a comfort stop at Rugby Services on the outward journey. Timings subject to traffic conditions and dietary requirements can be catered for, please let us know when booking.
