A stunning counterpoint to the rugged Yorkshire landscape RHS Garden Harlow Carr is the perfect spot for a day out that combines garden inspiration with outdoor exploration, Spanning 58 acres this beautiful garden has great history, real character and lots to discover. The border and scented gardens are a particular highlight at this time of year with fabulous colour and fragrance to enjoy. Relax by the Queen Mother’s Lake, discover botanical treasures in the Alpine House and see the vibrant Streamside primula candelabras and beautiful wildflower meadows.

There's free time to enjoy the spa town of Harrogate before the RHS gardens. We can thank the Victorians for Harrogate's popularity - its longstanding reputation as a luxurious, relaxing, spa destination continues to this day! The English Heritage Grade II Listed Valley Gardens make for a lovely summer stroll. You'll also find Bettys Tea Rooms (of course!) and don’t miss the delightful, cobbled Montpellier Quarter where you'll find antiques, boutiques, jewellers, independents and cafés.

RHS Members gain free entry for themselves and a friend on presentation of a valid membership card, book fare only at £38 for seniors, £39.50 for adults and £30 for children. Just let us know in special requests.

Includes free time in Harrogate, entry to RHS Garden Harlow Carr, return travel and a reserved coach seat. The coach is due to arrive in Harrogate at 12:00, setting down and picking up on St Mary’s Walk. Rejoin the coach at 13:30 to continue to the gardens, arriving at 13:45. The coach will leave the gardens at 16:45 and collect fare only passengers from Harrogate at 17:00 before heading home. There will be a comfort stop at Blyth Services on the outward and return journey.
