Named by The Times as one of the best Christmas lights in the country! Enter this ancient, moated wonderland as the skies turn dark and the gardens glow! A warming mulled wine is included but follow the trail and be tempted by Smores on the fire, gourmet hot dogs, chips, nachos and burritos along the way. A 1920s galloper carousel, café and a small selection of boutique shops await after the trail. We’ll pause for free time in Bury St Edmunds en route. Will you be tempted by 50 Suffolk stallholders lining the Nave at the Cathedral’s Christmas Fair (entry £2)?

Includes entry to Helmingham Hall Illuminated Gardens with a mulled wine, free time in Bury St Edmunds, return travel and a reserved coach seat (of your choice). The coach is due to arrive in Bury St Edmunds at 13:00 and depart at 15:30, setting down and picking up on Angel Square. Continue to Helmingham Hall, arriving at 16:45 and departing at 19:00. Entry to the Illuminated Trail is booked for 17:00 and a mulled wine voucher will be handed to adults as you pass through the entry gate. This is an outdoor event, please dress appropriately for the weather.
