Expect a warm winter welcome from The Bure Valley Railway where a delicious Christmas Afternoon Tea is waiting for you at Aylsham Station. Tuck into sandwiches, cakes, a scone with jam and clotted cream, all served with tea/coffee or mulled punch, before boarding the longest narrow gauge railway in Norfolk. This 45 minute steam hauled journey explores a lovely stretch of rural Norfolk between Aylsham and Wroxham through the villages of Brampton, Buxton and Coltishall. After disembarking at Wroxham Station, take the short coach transfer to Wroxham Barns where you'll find a unique selection of shops and craft studios - the perfect place to pick up something special for Christmas. You'll find over 10 independents at this boutique shopping village with each inspiring studio owned by a local maker/expert, who is passionate and proud of what they do. There's a tempting courtyard cafe if you'd like to warm up before heading home.
