Today, we remember the service and sacrifice of all those that have defended our freedoms and protected our future. This thought-provoking and insightful day ensures you have time to pay your respects and to learn more about the vital roles played by those who have lost their lives due to conflict.

On arrival at the world-class International Bomber Command Centre a knowledgeable guide will offer a free guided tour, ensuring that we are able to pay our respects when the clock strikes 11am. There will be time for you to explore the site including The Walls of Names which carries the names of almost 58,000 men and women, the Memorial Spire, interactive displays and veteran stories in The Chadwick Centre and 10 acres of landscaped grounds in the Peace Gardens.

From here, we continue past World War Airfields to the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Visitor Centre within the boundaries of RAF Coningsby. Many of the guides here have first-hand experience of the aircraft that you'll see within the hangar, you will also be able to observe the RAF BBMF technicians at work. This is a working hangar but you are likely to see an airworthy Lancaster, spitfires, hurricanes and chipmunks.

Comes highly recommended by last year's customers: "A truly memorable trip" • "A thought provoking and emotional day"

Includes a guided tour at the International Bomber Command Centre, a guided tour at the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Visitor Centre, an informative drive between the two, return travel and a reserved coach seat. The coach is due to arrive at the IBCC at 10:30 with a guided tour and at 12:55 the coach will depart for the BBMF Visitor Centre. The coach is due to arrive at 13:45 ready for our guided tour at 14:00. The tour lasts approx. 1.5 hours and the coach is scheduled to depart at 15:45. There is a cafe at the IBCC, alternatively there are picnic areas so please bring a pack up for lunch. There is limited wheelchair capacity at the BBMF so please tell us if you plan to bring one.
