Let a friendly local guide take you on a summer stroll through the Grade II* listed gardens at Bridge End, a Victorian hidden treasure in the heart of Saffron Walden. Painstakingly restored over 20 years ago, Bridge End Garden is a beautiful historic space made up of charming “garden rooms”, including a colourful Dutch Garden, fragrant Rose Garden, a Walled Garden and Hedge Maze. Wide paths and intriguing alcoves give way to beautiful vistas as your guide shares the garden’s history and details of the carefully curated plants grown here today. Compact, picturesque, and full of character, this garden never disappoints – especially in summer. Your tour will conclude with tea/coffee and cake served in one of the nearby historical pubs.
