Visit one of the finest examples of a Humphrey Repton landscape at the peak of the flowering season and you'll soon understand why this became his own personal favourite design. Famous for its vast collection of rhododendrons and azaleas - a climb to the top of the viewing towers to soak up breathtaking views of this beautiful (and rather colourful) landscape and the North Norfolk coast is a must. From here, continue to nearby Sheringham to enjoy an afternoon by the sea. This classic Victorian seaside resort offers an award-winning beach, fresh fish and chips, flat walks along the promenade and some lovely local shops and food outlets, you might even be lucky enough to spot a steam engine pulling away from the heritage station. Team member Tory highly recommends the cakes from Winibees Bakery and the street food from Fat Teds.
Includes free time at Sheringham Park and in Sheringham, return travel and a reserved coach seat. The coach is due to arrive at Sheringham Park at 12:00 and will depart at 13:45, there is a Courtyard Café but you may also wish to bring a picnic. We will continue to Sheringham, arriving at 14:00 and departing at 17:00. There will be a 45 minute comfort stop at the Gatehouse Kings Lynn on the outward journey. If you are a National Trust Member it is beneficial to Sheringham Park if you scan your card at the parking machines (if you’d like to do a good deed for the day).
