Enjoy a peaceful sailing along this beautiful canal network in the heart of Staffordshire, it is one of the prettiest ways to enjoy the region's softly undulating countryside as the summer sun shines down. Departing from just outside the town of Penkridge is the Judith Mary II (which some of you may remember from our very popular cruise along the Peak Forest Canal), this delightful vessel has a new home on the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal and is ready to welcome you on back on board with a delicious choice lunch included. After the cruise there is free time to explore the vibrant yet historical Cathedral city of Lichfield on market day.

Lunch choices: Mini Fish Bites (gluten free available) or Steak & Ale Pie or Spiced Cauliflower Pie, all served with chips, bread & butter, a pot of mushy peas and garnished with a lemon wedge and pea shoots. There is a licensed bar on board. Please let us know your lunch choice and any dietary requirements at the time of booking.

Includes a two hour cruise on the Staffordshire & Worcestershire Canal with a choice lunch, free time in Lichfield, return travel and a reserved coach seat. The coach is due to arrive in Penkridge at 11:30 ready for your 12:00 sailing. The boat returns at 14:00 when we'll transfer to Lichfield, arriving at approx. 14:50 (at the Bus Station on Birmingham Road). The coach will depart from here at 16:45. There will be a comfort stop at Rugby Services on the outward journey.
