This cherished spot on the Norfolk coast comes alive during the annual summer carnival, which has been taking place for over 100 years! Events take place throughout the whole week at this exciting and lively event and this Friday you'll find drop in crafts at Wells Library, music from Thursford in the Carnival Marquee and a Carnival Roll Up at Elsmith Bowls Club. Between all the fun perhaps you'll sit and watch the boats go by from the picturesque harbour, grab deliciously fresh fish & chips or a cool and creamy ice cream, wander along the little streets and pop into the traditional seaside shops, or maybe even adventure along the mile-long Beach Bank Walk to find a beautiful stretch of soft sand at the end.

Did you know that in the 1800s Lifeboat Horses were trained to gallop into action at the sound of rocket fire? They would tow a 33ft lifeboat two and a half miles to its launch site at Holkham Gap! Look out for the partly submerged sculpture honouring these brave animals in the quay.

Includes return travel and a reserved coach seat. The coach is due to arrive in Wells at 11:45 and depart at 17:00. There will be a comfort stop at Sandringham Visitor Centre on the outward journey.
