Visit the Isle of Arran to experience Scotland’s diverse and dramatic scenery, from lush green forests to fearful mountain tops and from deep blue waters to dominant red deer – the varied landscape of Arran has given it the nickname Scotland in Miniature. As you sail over the Firth of Clyde and see Arran’s jagged peaks in the distance, you’ll immediately feel that you’ve escaped the bustle of the mainland. It’s time to settle into island life, surrounded by water, nature and unforgettable landscapes.

This unforgettable coach holiday includes truly Scottish experiences from whisky tasting to a 4x4 wildlife safari! You'll discover the nation's passion for single malts and Scotland's Big Five wild animals, and uncover this beautiful island's past at mid 19th century Brodick Castle and the Arran Heritage Museum - not to mention the never ending scenery.

The Kinloch Hotel, Brodick Castle & Country Park and Arran Heritage Museum are winners of a 2023 Travellers’ Choice Award from Tripadvisor – this is only awarded to attractions that are ranked within the top 10% and consistently earn great visitor reviews!

Set off early in time for a late afternoon sailing from Ardrossan across the Firth of Clyde to the beautiful Isle of Arran.

Join the Scots in their passion for single malts with a distillery tour and tasting before taking the coast road to enjoy free time in the island’s main village, Brodick, surrounded by calm seas and imposing mountains. Now, for ‘A sense of Scotland’ at Arran Aromatics where invigorating fragrances reconnect you with nature. An updated bath, body and home product range draws inspiration from the island and we’re sure you’ll be tempted in their Home Farm shop.

Spend your morning on the west coast making the most of the hotel's stunning seafront position and leisure facilities. This afternoon, visit the grand Baronial estate at Brodick Castle – a must-see on Arran. There’s a new interactive experience that brings the impressive, treasure-filled rooms to life whilst a new Silver Garden Trail and Plant Hunters’ Walk will keep you entertained outside. Don’t miss the new border design in the ancient Walled Garden, with stunning views of Brodick Bay.

Climb on board a 4x4 Mercedes 16-seater with huge windows and comfy seats as we head into the wild and remote corners of Arran. Your guide will be quick to point out Scotland’s Big Five – red deer, red squirrels, golden eagles, otters and harbour seals and reveal the island’s captivating history, rich culture, diverse geography and thriving ecology. You’ll also visit the Arran Heritage Museum to uncover the island’s social history, archaeology and geology before returning to the hotel for a relaxing afternoon. This quirky museum houses a complete Early Bronze Age grave, a 19th century Smiddy (blacksmiths) and a 1920s schoolroom!

A last Scottish breakfast before we ‘hie away’ to Brodick for our return crossing to the mainland with the glorious views continuing as we make our way to the border.
