Monday
Enjoy cream tea on arrival and a complimentary glass of refreshing cider before tonight’s evening meal.
Tuesday
Head into the heart of Skinner’s Brewery and find out how their tempting tipples are made, finishing with a tutored tasting in the tap room. Walk it off at the world-renowned Eden Project where, after an educational introduction, you’re free to explore the awe-inspiring Rainforest and Mediterranean Biomes, outdoor gardens and insightful exhibitions.
Wednesday
Spend the day in nearby Newquay or take a morning ride to Padstow (or ‘Padstein’), home to many of TV chef Rick Stein’s famous restaurants. Grab an alfresco coffee on the harbour edge, take a quiet wander around the turquoise waters, hunt out a delicious pasty or make the most of this ‘window shoppers’ paradise’ as you wind your way through the boutiques and brands.
Thursday
The Lost Gardens of Heligan have a mysterious and romantic story to tell. Hidden for decades, this secret garden has been transformed in to a 200-acre paradise packed with winding paths, bamboo tunnels and majestic ferns! Then to Mevagissey, a quaint fishing village full of traditional Cornish character and home to a tangle of gift shops and cafés lining the narrow streets. Finish up with a 5 course ‘Taste of Cornwall’ dinner, accompanied by a complimentary glass of Camel Valley sparkling wine.
