Sunday
Time to relax in your 4* surroundings, perhaps take a refreshing dip in the pool or treat yourself to a glass of wine on the patio.
Monday
There's so much to do at Beaulieu! The Palace House is one of just ten Treasure Houses of England; here, costumed guides will take you through the fascinating home of Lord Montagu, including his secret library and a restored Victorian kitchen. Admire the pristine collection of vehicles inside the world renowned National Motor Museum, from F1 to a rustic 1930s garage. Did you know that over 3,000 Special Ops agents were trained in the dark arts of warfare at Beaulieu? Head to the Secret Army Exhibition to find out more. After an action packed morning we’ll take a scenic drive through the New Forest, pausing a short while in Lyndhurst, where quirky shops and cafés line the long and buzzing High Street. It’s free entry to the New Forest Heritage Centre with changing displays in the Gallery.
Tuesday
Today we’re spinning — silk this morning and spirits this afternoon! Whitchurch Silk Mill is built on Frog Island and the clear waters that flow around it have powered the mill for over 200 years. See the traditional Victorian machinery and the recently refurbished cast iron waterwheel during a guided tour, finishing with a sandwich lunch. Take time to wander in the mill gardens or explore Whitchurch itself — Hampshire’s smallest town has a lovely Mill Trail along the River Test and quirky antique shops full of treasures. Finish the day at the Bombay Sapphire Distillery with a fully guided tour through the Glasshouses, Botanical Dry Room and the Still House, complete with a personalised drink to round off your visit. Note: Differing levels at the Distillery but DDA compliant, no open-toe shoes or heels.
Wednesday
Your Ultimate Explorer Ticket at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard gives you full access to all the attractions at this award winning site. The Mary Rose Museum, HMS Victory, Explosion! Museum of Naval Power, Submarine Museum and so much more including the chance to take a historical harbour tour. Look out for a brand new space that’s set to open in summer 2026 — the Royal Marines Museum.
