Join us for a fun ‘Taste of Christmas’ themed stay at the Royal Hotel in Ryde on the much-loved Isle of Wight. Queen Victoria and Prince Albert loved the island so much that they built their very own palatial holiday home here and a visit to their island home will be one of the tour highlights.

Monday
Enjoy great views over The Solent as you take the Portsmouth-Fishbourne ferry to the island, with tea/coffee on arrival. Later, meet your fellow guests at a Sherry & Mince Pie reception.
Tuesday
Our round-the-island tour takes in the charm of Shanklin Olde Village, the spectacular scenery of The Downs, the famous coloured sands at Alum Bay and the ancient port of Yarmouth. This evening you can dine like royalty with a traditional Christmas Dinner back at the hotel and enjoy live entertainment, as well as a visit from Santa with treats for everyone!
Wednesday
After a quiet start, spend the afternoon at Queen Victoria’s lavish seaside mansion, Osborne House. The sumptuous furnishings will give you a glimpse in to their extravagant lifestyle.
Thursday
Spend the morning in Cowes, joining us if you wish for an informative visit to the Wight Military & Heritage Centre. Guided tours are conducted by ex-service volunteers who, with their varied experiences and anecdotes, really contribute to the enjoyment of the displays. Tonight, live entertainment with a DJ will bring your holiday to an entertaining end – and fancy dress is an option if you have a creative streak!
