Sunday
There’s time for sightseeing and shopping in Leeds before checking in with tea/coffee at your 4* Harrogate hotel. Look out for the famously historic grand arcades that combine luxury shopping with independent retailers in Leeds' Victoria Quarter.
Monday
Start the day in Masham at the Black Sheep Brewery where a one-hour guided tour will engage your senses as you take in the sights, sounds and smells of the production process and tickle your tastebuds with a sample of these delicious beers. There’s free time to enjoy Masham’s traditional market town ambiance before returning to Harrogate to spend your afternoon at leisure.
Tuesday
Wander through the grand rooms of the Baroque stately home at Castle Howard, which have been transformed for Christmas with an enchanting new winter theme - 'Christmas in Neverland'. Continue the Christmas vibes at York St. Nicholas Fair and browse the alpine chalets that are well stocked with local goods and delicious food and drink. Mid-afternoon there’s a sightseeing cruise along the River Ouse. Listen to live commentary whilst enjoying a hot drink and a festive flavoured tart as you sail along this historic waterway.
Wednesday
Check out after breakfast (your luggage can be left on the coach) and spend the morning browsing the lovely independent shops in Harrogate. Maybe treat yourself to a spot of lunch at the famous Bettys Café Tea Rooms before we head home.
