We are looking for an enthusiastic Travel Consultant who will be responsible for, but not limited to, the end to end customer experience in booking one of our day trips. You will be supporting two other Travel Consultants at our Maxey site, working as a close-knit team within a busy office.
You will be a tenacious individual who is comfortable working as part of a team as well as autonomously, has the ability to hit the ground running, maintaining a flexible manner and approach at all times. We're looking for someone who copes well under pressure, and is comfortable handling large volumes of calls and dealing with queries.

The Role
- Mon-Fri
- 9am-5pm (35 hours pw)
- £22,222.22 per annum
- Based at 49 High Street, Maxey, PE6 9EF
- 20 days holiday (plus 8 bank holidays)

- Start date is flexible but ideally asap
Responsibilities
- Completing customer bookings for day trips (and occasionally holidays) - including handling queries, taking payments and issuing tickets
- Adding trips onto our industry bespoke system (training will be provided)
- Liaising with suppliers (theatres, agents, venues, etc.) and ordering tickets
- Monitoring minimum numbers for trips to support management in making financial decisions
- Diarising key dates for deposits, final ticket orders and preparing driver packs
- Creating day trip posters for information boards
- Processing settlement reports
- Building driver packs
- Proof reading itineraries / customer communications
- Support other team members in day-to-day duties
Requirements
- Experience working in a customer facing role
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to present information concisely
- Experience dealing with key stakeholders
- Team player
- Attention to detail
- Self-disciplined and efficient
- Good knowledge and experience of Microsoft office packages
- Ability to work to deadlines
