Every year one of Britain's finest stately homes transforms its interior with an enchanting Christmas theme! This year, Chatsworth have recreated the magical atmosphere of a Nordic winter and invite you to be transported to the mystical frozen realms of the far north. Immersive roomscapes hold giant woodland hideaways and sculpted ice walls that conjure images from Nordic fairy tales. The Norse god's enchanting spell over Chatsworth brings the sights, sounds and scents of the natural winter world to life and entices you into the garden to admire the spectacular illuminated trails and features.

You'll find some wonderful festive treats, gifts and decorations at the outdoor market, with over 100 stalls selling fine local produce. Take a break from shopping and enjoy a mulled wine or German beer and sample some of the delicious food on offer. There's live music too, to get you in the festive spirit!

We're due to arrive at Chatsworth at 11:30 ready for our timed entry to the house at 12:00. We'll depart at 16:00. There will be a short stop at Notcutts Garden Centre in Nottingham on the outbound journey.
