Join an expert guide on an outdoor tour of Lincoln Cathedral with exclusive access to little-seen locations including the Ringer’s Chapel and the stunning enclosed courtyard of Victor’s Court. Lincoln Cathedral was once surrounded by a great wall, protecting the residents of the close from ‘robbers and other evil doers’, and as you walk around the picturesque Minster Yard, you’ll hear the stories of some of the colourful characters who have lived here over the centuries. Includes a 90 minute guided tour, free time in Lincoln, return travel and a reserved coach seat. The coach is due to arrive on Saltergate at 11:00 and on Northgate at 11:15 (two set down points). There's free time before your guided tour at 13:30, please arrive in good time and enter through the main entrance at the West Front and head to the Cathedral's Welcome Desk. The coach will depart from Northgate at 16:30 and Saltergate at 16:45. Note: The outdoor guided tour does not include Cathedral entry (this can be booked on the day at an additional charge of approx. £12.95pp).
