Market stalls and live demos take over Parliament Street and St Sampsons Square at this ten day festival that celebrates the best of Yorkshire’s vibrant food and drink scene. A delicious day out is guaranteed! York is home to more attractions per square mile than any other UK city including The Yorkshire Museum, which recently acquired the largest Iron Age Hoard discovered in the UK. Chariots, Treasures and Power: Secrets of the Melsonby Hoard is here for one year only (entry fee applies). A saunter down the Shambles is a must - with overhanging timber buildings and a narrow cobbled floor, it's one of the best-preserved medieval shopping streets in Europe.
Includes free time in York, return travel and a reserved coach seat. The coach is due to arrive at York's Union Terrace Coach Park at 11:45 and depart at 16:45. There will be a comfort stop at Blythe Services on the outward and return journey.
