Our annual celebratory Reunion is our way of thanking you for joining us on our Great Days Out and Door2Door Holidays, to catch up with friends that we’ve made over the years and to warmly welcome new customers. There’s always a lovely atmosphere and it’s a great way to meet like-minded people. If you're new to coach holidays, this is the perfect introduction.
This year, we’re returning to one of our favourite hotels on the south coast – Marsham Court in Bournemouth – a hotel that consistently exceeds expectations. Along with all our usual inclusions you’ll find lots of added extras such as entertainment each night, two lunches and excellent value sea view rooms. Lead Drivers, Graham and Carl, will be your hosts alongside Tory (a fourth generation Shaw), Steph (your holiday guru) and forward-thinking new owners Jo and Adam who are eager to see how great we are at celebrating! We recommend booking early for this popular event that's already selling fast.
Great value sea view rooms! Just £20/room for a sea view or £30/room for a sea view and balcony!
What do our customers say? "Enjoyed going to different places we would not have visited ourselves" • "As always a very enjoyable holiday, organised by a wonderful team"
Holiday Insurance. We always recommend taking out adequate holiday insurance, that's why we’ve partnered with Everywhen & David Oliver Associates who offer cover specifically designed for your coach holiday. Wednesday
We couldn’t pass by the Oxford Bus Museum without popping in. The passionate team have preserved over 40 vintage vehicles, the earliest dating from 1913 and one of the most unique being the Morris Motors factory brass band bus from 1961! After a buffet lunch we’ll continue to Bournemouth where you can expect a warm welcome from the hotel with tea/coffee on arrival. After a 3-course dinner with tea/coffee this evening there will be light entertainment to help us settle in.
Thursday
Head west to the picturesque county town of Dorchester, birthplace of novelist Thomas Hardy with Roman roots and charming Georgian architecture. Visit the award-winning Dorset Museum & Art Gallery which tells an incredible 250 million years’ worth of regional stories, unlocking the county’s best kept secrets. World-class collections include the fossilised skull of the largest marine reptile that ever lived, original Hardy manuscripts and finds from the Iron Age hillfort at Maiden Castle. Your entry ticket allows you to come and go as you wish, meaning there’s plenty of opportunity to enjoy Dorchester’s shops, attractions and eateries (lunch not included). It’s free entry to the only fully exposed Roman Town House in England and you’ll even find a replica of Tutankhamun’s tomb and a Teddy Bear Museum in town (entry fees apply). On returning to Bournemouth there’s the option to spend your afternoon at leisure or join us for tea/coffee, biscuits and a light-hearted quiz. The hotel is opposite the Russell Cotes Art Gallery & Museum (entry approx. £9.50pp) which boasts incredible sea views from the Victorian glasshouse which reopened last year after extensive restoration. This evening, we celebrate - beginning with a drinks reception, followed by a gala dinner and accompanied by live entertainment. See you on the dance floor!
Friday
It’s time to wave goodbye to the south coast but there’s still plenty to look forward to! We’ll pause at the Royal Logistic Corps Museum which tells the 300-year story of the RLC’s role in supporting soldiers during conflict. Displays include the Rolls-Royce used by Field Marshal Montgomery after D-Day and Napoleon’s bread oven! There’s time for a final farewell lunch at Millets Farm Centre before the last leg of the journey. You’ll find a garden centre, shops and furry faces on the animal walkway including pygmy goats and alpacas.
