This holiday has now departed but we're back on the Isle of Wight in November and December or browse all our breaks.
The Isle of Wight may be only 45 minutes from England’s south coast but a holiday here will make you feel that you might be a million miles away from home. Over half of this much-loved island has been designated as an ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’ and a drive along the coast provides a never-ending series of spectacular views. Inland you’ll find olde-worlde villages with pretty thatched cottages, where time seems to have almost stood still! It’s also one of the few places in Britain where the red squirrel thrives!

Thursday
Take the short ferry crossing from Portsmouth to Fishbourne.
Friday
Enjoy an afternoon visit to Osborne House, the beloved and palatial, holiday home of Queen Victoria. She said, it is impossible to imagine a prettier spot, see if you agree.
Saturday
Our scenic ‘Round the Island’ tour calls at Isle of Wight Pearl, Alum Bay (for a great view of The Needles) and the historic port of Yarmouth.
Sunday
Spend the day at your leisure.
Monday
Spend awhile in Ryde before enjoying a ride on the island’s beautifully preserved heritage steam railway through miles of pretty countryside! Round off the day with a stop in the picturesque village of Godshill.
Tuesday
Join us this morning for a guided tour of the exotic Botanic Garden at Ventnor.
Wednesday
Return home.
