The traditional 1950s carriages offer a unique way in which to experience this incredible landscape. Disembark at Lakeside Station, connect with Windermere Lake Cruises and sail across England’s largest lake. This spectacular voyage offers magnificent views of secluded bays, mountain tops and wooded islands. Docking at Bowness, take the coach to Ulverston where there’s the chance to visit the Lakeland Motor Museum, where over 30,000 exhibits are housed in a converted mill. Displays include a tribute to the legendary Isle of Man TT, a 1960 MGA Roadster (police spec) and a 1920s Fire Engine.
