Lincoln Cathedral is one of Europe’s finest Gothic buildings and now looks even more astonishing after emerging from an impressive 40 year restoration to the outer brickwork! The Usher Gallery boasts artwork from Turner, Lowry and Grayson Perry and the Museum of Lincolnshire Life is home to nearly 250,000 objects including an authentic WWI tank (both free entry). Lincoln Central Market is open daily with stalls inside and outside of City Square. It's adjacent to Waterside Shopping Centre - a modern complex full of all your favourite high street brands. The Cornhill Quarter is an exciting social area in the heart of the city with tasty food and drink options alongside unique independents.
Head to the Visit Lincoln website to start planning your day and download this 2.7 mile walking guide from Countryfile that features the cathedral, castle and arboretum.
Includes return travel and a reserved coach seat. The coach is due to arrive on Saltergate at 11:00 and on Northgate at 11:15 (two set down points). The coach will depart from Northgate at 16:30 and Saltergate at 16:45.
