This beautiful line is ‘bringing rail back to the Dale’. Watch seemingly endless views roll by as you pass through the pretty Yorkshire countryside onboard a heritage diesel trail. Start your journey at Leeming Bar Station and pop into the restored museum to meet living history characters that will tell you all about rural railway life in the 1920s. Disembark at Leyburn and take the short coach transfer to the charming town centre where market day is in full swing. Back on the coach we’ll take the scenic route to Ripon – a city stepped in history with a magnificent 7th-century cathedral and ancient market square.

Includes a journey on the Wensleydale Railway, free time in Leyburn and Ripon, return travel and a reserved coach seat. The coach is due to arrive at Leeming Bar Station at 11:20 where there will be time to look around the restored 1900s station before your 12:00 train to Leyburn. The train arrives at Leyburn Station at 12:40, from here, take the short coach transfer into Leyburn town for free time. At 15:00 we will depart for Ripon, taking the scenic route that gets us in for 15:45. We will head home at 17:15. There will be a comfort stop at Blythe Services on the outward and return journey.
