Begin the day in timeless Pickering on market day, taking time to explore the 1930s themed station that’ll transport you back to the steam era. From here, board one of the oldest railways in the world, steaming across the Moors, past Goathland (aka Harry Potters' Hogsmeade Station), through Heartbeat Country, all the way to Grosmont. Finish the day in Whitby with a choice of two beaches, two harbour walls and awesome views from the top of the famous 199 steps.

Includes a single journey on the NYMR, free time in Pickering and Whitby, return travel and a reserved coach seat. The coach is due to arrive in Pickering at 12:30, setting down at the bus lay-by on The Ropery. Please meet at the station by 13:50, ready to board the 14:10 departure to Grosmont. The train arrives in Grosmont at 15:20 where the coach will be waiting to transfer you to Whitby. We are due to be in Whitby from 16:00-18:00, setting down and picking up at the Coop on Langbourne Road. There will be a 30 minute comfort stop on both journeys. Note: Today's train is due to be steam hauled but is subject to availability, please let us know if you plan to bring walking aids or wheelchairs.
